Doctor Removes Huge Bladder Stone
Stunned doctors have removed a staggering 1.4kg stone from a man’s bladder. Mahesh Patel, 49, had the huge stone removed after complaining of excruciating pain in his abdomen due to blocked up urine. Doctors were horrified to spot a stone as big as a coconut in an x-ray scan of Mahesh’s urinary bladder and it took surgeons one-and-a-half hours to pull it out. Dr Dhirubhai Patel said: "Examinations revealed a large lump in his lower abdomen and further x-rays showed he had the huge stone in his bladder. “After two days of intravenous antibiotics, we operated on him and removed the stone.
