Maryland Public School Sports Association Will Now Allow Student Athletes To Wear Hijab

Maryland revised rule that barred student athletes from wearing hijab during basketball game
The Maryland Public Secondary School's Athletic Association says any player can now wear a head covering, wrap or other religious garment that doesn't affect other players. The previous policy had prevented a player from Watkins Mill High School from playing in the postseason.
